AP Bio Predictions?

what topics will be tested for the FRQ? do you think genetic engineering will be a big thing? some teachers look at past exams and predict from that... usually its a good prediction so any ideas?

I'm more worried about the labs.. I'm self-studying this and well.. I'm basically just reading about the labs right now (using Cliffs and this one website).. I'm not sure if that's good enough.. What labs were covered in previous frqs? Maybe I'll only concentrate on the ones they haven't covered yet... short on time ^^ and I'm not as skilled a crammer as most on these forums lol

I'm not prepared at all...I'm trying to study for APUSH now, and I need to read literally all but three or four chapters of my Princeton review book for Bio. I hate my teacher; he's a bad man, lol. I'm probably going to get a 1.

Last year I remember a lab question regarding the potato lab, or something like it. Anyway, the lab information is presented in the FRQ, and you basically just have to analyze the setup and consequent results. If you want max points, always put as a step in the lab "write-up" "Would perform multiple times to achieve a consistent result," or something similar.

im screwed for this test
ok for the labs my teacher put these labs as doubtful for the frq: dissolved oxygen. (although its 5 years ago its pretty doubtful), diffusion and osmosis, physiology (but my bio teacher said that it was on the make up testing in 2002 but it might not be this year), the electrophoresis one or gene amplification, and the enzyme catalysis. btw does neone know of a site that has all twelve labs in detail and what should be needed for the test, etc. thnx!!

Enzyme catalysis COULD be one, actually. It comes up so often that it wouldn't surprise if it comes up next Monday also

Wow. Nice sites. Thanks ^^

Now if only I can set aside enough time to look at them... ahhh.. I don't need to sleep saturday anyway... plenty of time =P

You guys have plenty of time. I didn't study much before the weekend before the exam last year. On the saturday and Sunday before the monday exam I read the entire Kaplan Ap bio book and got a 5. I think if you take the time to read a test prep book over the weekend you will do well.

my teacher thinks it will be water potential/diffusion/osmosis...that kind of thing.

C3/C4/CAM... I can feel it.

I hope not... I don't like plants. But I'd rather do photosynthesis pathways than water potential stuff, even though it's probably harder.

My teacher predicted an essay on Darwin's work...
