Hi all, so last year I took AP bio. I still have my AP bio Barron’s prep book. I have been using this in conjunction with the Barron’s sat bio prep book and PR prep book. I know that the test is supposed to be easier than AP bio, but is that really true? Should I just stop using the AP bio prep book and focus on using Barron’s/PR?

Barron’s SAT biology book is more than enough (got a 790 on M even though I skipped over a couple of pages throughout). Using 3 books is complete overkill and a waste of time and may not even ensure an 800.
@Brajia what was your background on bio tho? Had you taken AP bio beforehand orrrr? So you’d agree that the SAT 2 Bio test is way less like…detailed? than AP Bio?

I took AP Bio but one of my friends started AP Bio this year, study 4 days before the test and got a 720. Just study diligently and you will be fine
I took AP Bio last year and took the SAT 2 Bio M in October. I just used the Barron’s SAT 2 Bio book, skipped school the day before and read through it that day (master crash studier) and ended up with a 750. I feel like you don’t need all of the information that the AP Bio Barron’s provides, I think if I’d studied with the Barron’s SAT 2 Bio book for weeks ahead I would’ve done even better than a 750.
