Ap Bio -> Sat Ii Bio

I am taking AP Bio this year...and the AP exam is coming up.
im gonna take the SATII in bio as well....should i study at all for SAT II if i plan on studying for the AP exam well...

thanks in advance

you dont have to. i took AP bio last year, and I'm planning on taking SAT Bio E in june. All of the things in SAT BIO is covered in the Ap bio textbook.

super easy.

i got a 4 on it, so i think ill score pretty high on the sat 2

[crosses fingers]

Just to throw it out there, I got a 5 on the AP test but could never break a 700 on the SAT II.

Feez, did you take Bio E/ Bio M?

i'm planning on taking E. is it easier?

yeah I took both SATII Bio E and M, and scored 800 on bio E after getting a little under 700 for bio M. E is definitely easier, but you should know your genetics (I had a genetics class at school so it was pretty simple).

is the material covered in ap bio. sufficient for the genetics portion (and the whole test in general)?

Yes, it is sufficient for the subject test. Know how to make a punnett square for genotypes, such as TtYy and TTYy.

Also, know your genuses, kingdoms, phylums for invertebrates and vertebrates.

Take the subject test in May, so biology will be fresh in your mind.
