i am a bio genius and my cousin says i can do it easy as peeeeas, but what do you all think? Its really just memorization.... I was looking at it, simply a joke when compared to other AP sciences? Positive feedback anyone?

uh dude idk bout u but in my school -stuyvesant - its the hardest ap offered haha so idk...i wouldnt recommend self studying for it but idk...if u are truly a bio genius go for it

Are you serious- that's the hardest AP in Stuy? I thought it would be like AP Physics C or something like that.

zetsui,

i started studying for AP bio test in april and i never took AP bio (i took IB bio but it's not all the same), and i considered myself really dumb in bio cuz i was the most clueless one among my friends and the only non-science major but i still got a 4. definately do-able. i suggest doing a lot of practice questions in addition to reading and study group.

Go for it. Make sure you touch upon all of the labs you need to know---most biology textbooks won't have those, so you'll need to refer to AP review books.

or you could just guess on them 0=)

zetsui, if youre a bio genius, why dont you give USABO a shot. i am a bio genius, and ap bio is really really easy.

nah killaerone i believe ap bio is hardest.....physics c isnt because most ppl that take physics b instead of regular regents physics take physics c the following year so it isnt too difficult for them. bio i have heard is the hardest but i havent taken it yet.

I thought APUSH or AP Literature were the hardest..

Hardness is relative; the more math-inclined people may think Calc BC is easy but have trouble with Eng Lit. and vice versa.

yeah altair i'm really starting to hate those threads......... i mean i have heard so many ppl say "calculus omggggg impossible" yet i have taken a pretty hardcore calc course at school, not only do i think its easy, but i also think its practical!

Biology is too much memorization to start now IMO. I got my 5 by studying steadily over several months, and with less study time I don't think I would have been successful. But, keep in mind if you get to the test and mess up bigtime, you can always cancel. Never say AP Bio is a joke though, because it definitely isn't.

but don't u have to cancel the test before u see the score?

Ello...didnt wanna start a new thread for a simple question so um...

Is the Barrons AP bio boook good?
I have PR and REA's ...and was planning on getting Barrons...to "Brush up"...

thanks
