Ap bio tips and advice needed

So I know the ap bio exam got changed this year . Unfortunately I'll be taking this class this upcoming year . How was the new exam for those who took it this year? Difficult? Any advice and tips? I really want to get a good score . Also I need advice for a book. What was the book that helped the most with the new exam? Advice , tips and experience from those who took the new exam are greatly appreciated!

Okay… I never took AP Bio, but my Honors Bio teacher teaches AP Bio and recommends Barron’s just because of the way the information is laid out. She said that the books pretty much contain all the same content, so you should choose the one that displays the information in a way you want to learn it. Not sure how things run at your school, but after you take the course, you should be well prepared for the exam, especially if you have taken Bio at a lower level before. Good luck on the Exam!

Just a note… not sure how old you are or if you are looking into colleges or anything like that but, you might not have to take the exam for whatever you want to pursue in higher education. It is worth looking into your college of choice for whether they accept college credit or will let you skip a level once you attend because you did well on an AP test. If they are going to make you take Bio 101 no matter what, then no need to stress about the exam. But your school might make you pay for the exam in order to take the class, I do not know. But whatever you decide to do, Good Luck!
