Hey guys I just took the SAT 2 in Bio-E this Saturday and I think I did pretty well on it. How does the difficulty of the MC section on the AP Test compare? Do you think I'll need to review anything in greater depth for the AP next Monday?

My bio teacher told me that the Bio SAT 2s are basically for more competent, regular-bio classes. If you took AP Bio and did reasonably well in it, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

The AP Bio test, of course, is actually meant for AP Bio, so more studying for this one will probably help. From what I remember, AP Bio goes more in-depth for certain things (like, I remember a lot of focus on the different body systems- circulatory, nervous, etc).

I liked the Barron flash cards. They also helped me for the SAT IIs. =D

Thanks Kemikaruu.
Any other thoughts?

If it means anything, I got a 5 on the AP bio test last year while getting a 710on the SATII-M (I took the tests 2 days apart). I felt that the SATII tested more general info type stuff.

I have the AP Bio exam on Monday, and my teacher hasn't prepared us throughout the year at all. We only had 1 essay test (the rest were the most obscure fill-in questions that were so freaking irrelevant -__-) and we only started review last week or so.

Now, I'm pretty good with Bio. I was in Honors in freshman year (I'm a senior now), and I know the human systems pretty well (as I should, because I want to be a doctor), but this evolution, ecology, classification, etc. nonsense is killing me. Our teacher has told us throughout the year that the exam doesn't emphasize the human systems anymore, and that we should focus on the ones I mentioned above.

I have the rest of this week and all weekend to cram. I have the Cliffs AP review book, which my AP Chem teacher from last year recommended (and he's like a test prep MASTER). I've started going through the units and I plan to make flashcards or a study guide on key things that I don't know or remember. I've looked at some of the essay questions and they're absolutely absurd and random!! My teacher even took a practice test once and he got a 4. O__O Now that's reassuring...I think the fact that the multiple choice is 60% and the free response is 40% might just save my life.

I think a 5 is out of reach for me at this point, but a 4 could be a stretch if I work my butt off for the next few days. Any thoughts or advice, hatch?
