So I have a question.

I took barrons 3 tests after studying PR (which of course doesn't go as in depth). I skipped maybe 18 and missed about 8. So Raw score = 54. This was about the same for all 3. This would mean, I would need 5 for each frq.

Now i did sparknotes thing (had 50 questions so i just multiplied by 2). I missed had a raw score of about 60.

Next I did CB's 45 question thing... and I missed only 2 and skipped none.

Finally I have 2 last PR tests that I think I will miss < 10 and skip < 5.

So which one should I believe?

You should believe that overall, you're probably in good shape for the tests. I don't think you should have any great problem on the essays. You're already doing better than a lot of other people.

See on the essays though... i go on CB's website. And I try to answer them. The thing is I debate whether or not to put it down and usually end up with really low scores (like on the 2004 one I had maybe a 13).

gyros, are u aiming for a 5? A 54 raw multiple choice out of 100 plus 5's on all your frqs would give u a 4, which does mean your in good shape. If you bring that 54 raw score to around 65 and raise those frqs maybe a point or so for each. You'll be in the 5 range.

Gyros, if you are debating to put it down, go ahead and do it. You do not lose points for wrong information, or information that isn't in the question. You're only risk is alienating the grader, and I would not worry about that. If you get an essay about something you don't know anything about, put down anything relevant to the question you know.

I calculated that you need 63 pts on MC and 3's on all essays for a low 4.
Maybe I did it wrong, though.
