**** ap bio

Hate this ****

mumbles ADP...catabolic eyes glaze over

lol whats so hard.
have you gotten to chap 40s yet.

ap bio MURDERED MY SOUL last year.

after the final…i almost cried, i was so happy. i didn’t know what to do with my spare time…AKA ~4 hours/night i spent on that ■■■■■.

/rant.

It is so fuuuuucking boring!

A lot of reading, but at least it’s interesting.

Ha. Ha. Ha. You’re funny, jamesford

bio almost got my admission revoked from college

I loved Biology until I went into AP Biology… Powerpoint slides with vocab terms… every class… ■■■.

Pffffffft, AP Bio was an easy class. The only thing I hated was the reading… oh god the reading…

Some weekends I would get up to 135 pages of a textbook to read =/

^some weeknights I got 135 pages to read!

Bio’s awesome, guys. Just embrace it.

I would stay up until 3am doing tons of bio hw sometimes … my teacher was crazy I swear. I know how you feel.

Wow, is AP Biology really that bad? I was trying to be positive about everything - but this is making me feel a little uneasy

School starts on Monday for me, but based simply on the summer assignment, it doesn’t seem too promising.

how does reading and memorizing worthless amounts of information in a small time period sound to you?
My scheldule last week:

Mon: 2-hr lab
Tues: 30 question quiz on Ch 7
Thurs: 30 question quiz on Ch8
Fri: 50-question test on ch 7 and Ch8, complete with 3 essay questions. Points off for wrong answers, and timed. Lab report due. Notebook with 10 HW assignments due.

Annnnnnnnnnd. It’s boring. He lectures and lectures about blah blah blah blah. No one talks in that class. It’s dead silent. And basically everyday I have to read and memorize a whole chapter. His quizzes aren’t easy either.

HATE AP BIO!

^Wow, that is ridiculous. I can’t even get through a chapter/day on my own terms - let alone a half of a chapter this summer. - moans

i think its a lot of reading but ap bio is actually fun. yeah memerizing some stuff isn’t that fun either; but trust me its all worth it.

I don’t know why you signed up for it in the first place.
I am laughing at your pain, and glad you are in it.

The AP Bio teacher at our school is horrible. He’s a cool guy but he can’t teach. The class was incredibly simple. Our weekly homework consisted of a freakin’ half page current event somehow related to biology. Other than that, he gave us some busy work worksheets every now and than that were simple, short, and we got enough time to finish them in class. That class was so easy.

I got an A in the class and a 5 on the AP test (this required a lot of self studying at my own pace and with my own methods).

I would’ve died if I had a crazy teacher who made us read the textbook completely.

I feel sooooo sorry for you-not. Suck it up and deal with it. Bio is actually a pretty interesting subject, though cellular respiration/photosynthesis can get a bit hard/boring.

You kidding mate? Those are the best parts!

^ Agreed. Cell Respiration, Genetics, Evolution, all that stuff is really interesting.
