Is our curve screwed? was this test in general really easy or are the people on this board just bio fanatics who think every bio test is easy?

Nah, dude it was easier than normal…I had studied a hell of a lot, and remembered the hardest concepts in detail, and then the college board breaks out all of this amateur stuff with the FRQs like listing organelle…The curve is going to suck, and I feel as though I got between a 70-80% on the MC and at least a couple of 8’s a 5 on the water potential and a 6 on the FRQs

@ houstonr, thanks. i wonder how accurate this calculator is. hopefully, it’s pretty close.

Scratch that, I mixed up the sponge and probably got the intracellular/extracellular parts wrong…Is that part around 4 points I guess?

^ Would that atleast gain some credit?

@hotdog

48 Hours!

(Sorry, don’t mean to nag)

and btw Chipsahui…The answer to that question with the hardy Weinberg was .48 or 48% can’t remember which. It asked for heterozygous. So it would have been 2(.6)(.4)

Yeah, I hate to be that guy, but don’t forget about the 48 hour rule for frq’s and the ban on multiple choice discussion.

I thought the whole test was easy. Like, too easy.

The grade curve is going to be hard this year. I think I’ll get a five still just because I am almost certain i got over 90 of the multiple choice right which should make up for some of the essays. Sorry to be off topic but is the World History test easier than this test because I have that in two days.

We should take a poll predicting our scores.
I’ll start:

5: 0
4: 0
3: 0
2: 1
1: 0

1 0-57
2 58-68
3 69-80
4 81-94
5 95-150

This comes from AP pass. Do you guys think that a five would be like 10 points higher? Is it going to be that harsh?

coming from a guy who slept in every class; this test was easy. though i do have my doubts on some questions, i am confident i did well.

5: 0
4: 1
3: 0
2: 1
1: 0

Yeah I botched the frqs, and got like a 93 on the mcs… Idk, I’m hoping for a nice curve but that’s really unrealistic…

i thot the mcs were easy but the frq were hard and i messed up on them
5: 0
4: 2
3: 0
2: 1
1: 0

T.T FRQs destroyed me. Of course they pick the one lab I didn’t feel like reading…-__-
MC was eaaasyyy though :D

5: 0
4: 2 (3?)
3: 1
2: 1
1: 0
I am going with worst case scenario here, since I did not learn much this year.

For the FRQs, there were a few sections where I ran out of examples.

For the prezygotic barriers, I put that the form of the organism is an example. I wrote, “For example, a grain of pollen from a flowering pant can not fertilize the egg of a human female.” facepalm

Also, I talked about sea sponges, so I drew a diagram of Spongebob. :)

^ that is a prezygotic barrier…

5: 1
4: 2
3: 1
2: 1
1: 0

Did anyone else get a weird feeling taking this test? Like that it was almost suspiciously easy? Probably just me lol

I think I got like 70-80 of the MC and maybe 6/8/8/10 on the FR? We’ll see where that lands me.

This one kid sitting next to me had no clue what water potential was. For him, iCRT stood for I Can’t Remember This ****!!!

I thought that was a pretty good joke.
