AP Biology 2011 Official Thread

…I wish I saw this and joined CC earlier.

APExamScores by Phone for students are now available: 888-308-0013 in US/Canada; 609-771-7366 elsewhere.

anyone got your score yet?

Wow, I thought they were strictly July 1st. Apparently, it’s already available. I might just do it. Maybe I should wait.

My college sent me my AP scores. For free, haha. I got a 5 in bio (:D) and a 3 in stats (:/)

I got a 5 on bio.

They’re up on UW Madison’s student center.

My teacher never covered animals and only did a tiny bit of ecology, but it worked out. (Chapters 1-28 and then 45 and 46 in Mader’s book iirc). But those chapters were really in-depth, so I probably almost aced them.

I got a 5!

I’m very surprised considering I took IB* Biology SL* instead of the AP course, but then again I had to self-study for the AP test. Did anyone else in IB do this?

*IB = International Baccalaureate
*SL = Standard Level

^ I did that for chemistry, not biology.

I also got a 5 :)

For those who got a 5, what prep books did you guys use? Thanks in advance!

Got a 5 for AP Bio 5 on Chemistry and 5 on Cal YAYYAYAA! and @warlands, I used Princeton Review Cracking the AP biology exam 2011. This was the most amazing book, it covered things my teacher never went into detail about, and it was focused primarily on all the most important reoccurring essay topics in the AP bio exam!

I also got a 5! I actually dropped the phone when it said the score haha.

And @warlands, I used REA Crash Course as a quick review the two nights before the test, and used my AP Bio class notes for prep during the weeks before the exam.

So nothing but fives so far. I’m kind of nervous because I messed up a couple of parts of my FRQs, for extracellular digestion, I wrote Sponge (Porifera) and on the water potential subsection of the last question I screwed up a little bit on the first equation. Then I basically had no idea about the -iCRT thing. I did nearly all of the rest of the FRQ pretty well, hope that’s enough for a 5

Hmm, I loved the iCRT thing because I remembered it from AP Chemistry(Osmotic Pressure=Van’t Hoff FactorMolarityGas Constant*Temperature)

I had had honors chem concurrently, but nothing about that equation came up, and it certainly didn’t come up in my AP Bio class. I have AP Chem next year

I’m in shock… I got a 4… YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

does anyone know when the scores come out by mail?

If you’re in Texas, July 9th is what we have for next year. I think that we might receive them around the 11th.

I got a 5!!! I couldn’t believe it so I had to call for my score twice!!

I got a 5 :)
