can i say nonspecific immunity for 8c?

@TopOne Seems completely valid to me

For 2c, I didn’t mention the excess energy from respiration being released as heat…all I said was some of it is used to convert NADH+ and FADH2 back to NAD and FAD respectively. Will I get credit for that?

I should of checked the box on the back of my test book for CB not to use my frqs.

I think I got 80% on the MC and 28 on the FRQ. Can I get a five with that? Also, I didn’t answer half of question 3 and I didn’t answer any of question 7. Could you have answered question one without really referring to any of the structures? I recall just saying sensory neuron, interneurons, and motor neurons. Will that suffice? Thanks!

idk what happened, either i was on brain-dead mode or i didnt get enough sleep but i did not realize c and d in question 2. (-4 points)

@CollageWhat I think you should be fine; I put that it is used for other cellular processes and reactions, but I didn’t specify any as I didn’t have time.

Any thoughts on what this article is saying? http://www.biologyjunction.com/olfaction.htm

lmao i said the excess energy was released as heat, light, and sound energy (which is technically true but idk if its what they were looking for)

and for 8

a) lack helper B cells prevents creation of antibodies
b) lack of memory B cells prevents more efficient/faster/easier response to the pathogens when exposed the 2nd time
c) cell-mediated response will still occur where T cells will create helper T and killer T cells to mark pathogens and engulf them via phagocytosis

I feel like for the olfactory one the only way that alternative RNA splicing is wrong is if they meant the word “unique” in the question to mean only one receptor for each gene.

How does everyone feel about the free response and multiple choice sections?

I feel good about the multiple choice but really mad at the same time

I feel good mostly about the free response but felt like I had to BS pretty hard in spots

Do you think that olfactory FRQ was a 3 pointer or a 4 pointer?

Guys what do yall think a 30 out 41 on free response and 64/69 on multiple choice will get? Thanks in advance

@PieGuy Definitely a 5. I’m feeling around 30/41 on FRQs as well and about a 58/69 (or more, i can only think of one I know I got wrong) on MCs. Anything 78%+ (You’re at like 83-84) should get a 5.

How much of the free response do you have to get right to get a 5? I didn’t answer 2c because I skipped it and then ran out of time :frowning:

@samsunguser Assuming you did well (84%+) on the MC, about 30/41 will get you a 5

@CGlynn how about 4?

About 60%-70% overall.

what do I need on the multiple choice and the free response to pass?
