Congrats to everyone who did decent (3 or above is good Iād say)! Got a 5, all the credit to my AP Bio teacher who saved us by giving us a timed practice exam a week before the test (which I didnāt finish and got an 80, dropping my bio avg 5 points).
For any future students looking at this, timing is pretty critical. You want to move through the mc and short answer at a decent pace.
i got a 4:( kinda relieved cus its okay but kinda sad cus i suffered through so much with this class.
Somehow managed to get a 5 on the exam!! Iām honestly not even sure how because I learned absolutely nothing during the year I got a 4 on AP Stats though and I have a feeling itās because I was cramming so much for bio

I got a 4 but a 790 on the bio M. Do you think the subject test makes up for the 4?
No. There are no tradeoffs between subject tests and AP tests. BTW, a 4 is still a great score.
@pranav23 Although 4 is a great score, perhaps you would want to retake AP Bio test. If you got a 790, it means you have a good background in bio and with a few more practice tests, you can get a 5!
Kids freaking out about a 4 when Iām just trying to pass the exam LOL. I still have to wait for a few days before my score comes out Dx

This was the first ap test I ever took and I got a 4. Is this considered good or bad to colleges? Btw, Iām was in 9th grade.

I never took the class but did a little self-studying with the Barronās book; however I have been taking a biomedical class for 3 years throughout high school, so I have a pretty solid understanding of science. I had no idea what to expect on exam day (I definitely shouldāve put more effort into studying, never took a practice test:/). I was pleased to find that the exam was more reading and understanding rather than just memorization, and ended up with a 4.
does anyone know when scoring guidelines usually come out?
I got a 4! Iām extremely happy with that since my teacher is really old, and her handwriting while doing notes was hard to read, and she really just isnāt that great of a teacher (I had the privilege of having her for Chemistry and AP Bio). A few people from my class started a study group and we would meet for a few hours before tests, which was really helpful. I got a 4 and got a full 5.0 GPA for the class!
I cant believe I only got a 4ā¦I love bio and studied a lot for it throughout the school yearā¦it was just so difficult to remember the materials for so many AP tests all in a weekā¦gosh but still im so depressed. Congrats to everyone on their 5s though
