@ubermevin: Please share your study tips! Did you also self-study AND begin studying with so little time left before the exam?

Argh I don’t think I can study Bio until next Monday. Which means I’ll have about 6 days to study it. I need to study for Chemistry and Psychology first since they’re both on Monday D: I think this counts as cramming.

@anna: Hmm well I took the class, so I’m not completely sure, but I think the psychology exam shouldn’t be too difficult to get a 5 in. I have the Barrons book and skimmed it; it includes all of the terms that you need to know for the exam, but sometimes the definitions aren’t very clear. But I think you’ll do fine if you study it thoroughly (:

Oh, were you also planning on self-studying Chem?
What other APs are you taking? Any that you took in school? Or just self-studying all of them?

I am basically self studying all of them. I was panning on self studying chem…but I decided against it. I am also doing AP lang, US gov, and macro-econ. Any tips? How about you?

Do you think reading through Barron’s once is enough for psychology? Because that is all I am having the time to do =(

Wow! Intense. What grade are you in?
Yeah I wouldn’t recommend self-studying AP Chemistry. I’m also taking AP Stats and Psych… the easier APs, supposedly. US Gov is supposed to be pretty easy as well. But I haven’t taken ANY APs before, so I can’t really say. x) (My school doesn’t allow us to take AP classes until junior year, and in freshman&sophomore years I wasn’t very motivated.)

Hmm yes I think it should be sufficient. My psych textbook is way too wordy and has useless (though interesting) examples; Barrons is very concise but actually has more of the important terms than my textbook.

I’ve been taking an ap biology class all year with a great teacher and haven’t started studying for the test yet. I am going to read cliffs and do all the frq online. I remember most of the material. Here is a link with 2002 and 2008 multiple choice with answers. Hope it helps!
