AP Biology exaam AND SAT Bio? Do I need to take both?

<p>Ask the admissions folks at the schools you are applying to. Probably don’t need to take both, but some colleges want a certain number of Subject Tests.</p>

<p>Since you already prepared for and took the AP, it would definitely be in your advantage to go ahead and take the SAT subject test in Biology as well. You don’t have to send it to colleges if you aren’t happy with your score, but a good score would help your application.</p>

<p>Taking the SAT Bio exam would definitely be to your advantage. A very high score will cancel out the 4. Besides, most school require SAT subject tests. Why not use the Bio test to fulfill that requirement? The SAT Bio material overlaps with the AP curriculum so you will have already learnt the vast majority of the test content. If you do take the SAT Bio test though make sure to study anatomy esp the eye and the heart.</p>
