Has anyone took efforts or time to create last few years of FRQ/Multiple Choice AP Biology test and organized them as Chapter wise ? Appreciate If you know and share the details. I am hoping that some teacher might have done and can help kids to check and plan for exam in better way. Please share your thoughts and suggestion
Hey! Personally, I never started specifically studying for the FRQ questions until about March and still pulled a 5 on the AP test. I would honestly suggest you make sure you understand the material through and through for now and maybe ask your teacher for extra FRQ practice if you’re really on the ball (unlike me last year lol), but imo, it’s not really necessary
As for the multiple choice questions, you’ll probably be fine with the ones your teacher gives as tests (assuming you have a decent teacher) and they’re not really that hard imo if you understand the material, so I’d relax
The reason was to work on Free Response on a chapter basis while it is covered in the class to understand how the test can be organized instead of waiting for March or later to work on it.
i never made my own FRQ/MC but i always made really intense study guides for about every big unit (Nervous system, plants, cell organelles, protein synthesis) and would just use old AP FRQS that I would do after reviewing ALL the content. that way u can get exposure to every subject instead of focusing on not relevant content cause AP bio has like four categories (evolution, plant biology etc.)
