Goodness gracious...

I've never been much of a science person to begin with, but I am totally freaking out about how much you seem to need to know for this test. I'm really feeling pessimistic about it, judging from how i've done on the practice tests in my princeton review book.

Anyone who has taken it: What are the concepts that are most important to know? Is there any place online that I can use for preparation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

5 STEPS TO A 5 (or something to that effect) = best book for AP biology ever. it was great to have during the class (although this is probably a bit late, heh), as there are lab write ups in the back, which for me last year, was a big help for the lab essay.

i know that my class was really geared toward the molecular aspects; i think we touched on taxonomy and just a tad of environmental on like, the day before the test... if i remember correctly, this mini-lesson was pretty sufficient for the test.

i remember a lot of questions on fungus last year. anyone else remember that? i don't know if it was just last year or if it's an annual thing... but it was amusing. overall, i'd say the test isn't bad at all. just babble and say ANYTHING in the essays-- i didn't even make it to two of the essays last year, wrote down 1 sentence for each, and still pulled off a pretty good performance.

don't worry, you'll be surprised at how much you actually know come test-time, i'm sure.
