AP Biology: How do you study for unit/chapter tests?

For all of those who have made/are making A's in this class, how do you study for tests? Do you ready the Student Study Guide, just read the chapter in the textbook, or do you have some other strategy? And how long do you usually study?

CLIFF'S.

and practice worksheets that our teacher gives us.

The chapters and answer all questions including the ones after each section.

not cliffs alone, That wont get u that far for chapter tests...its better to like read the chapter from the book, while taking notes or w.e (and doing those small stupid questions on the bottom) ,and then doing cliffnotes as a review....

its called you study (memorize) your notes at 9:00 pm the night before the test.

worked for me every time: A's on all of the multiple choice, 10's on all of the essays, and a 5 on the actual exam. dont use the study books until you have to in may

Ok...so we have had 5 tests now and my average is a 73%! I have studied a good 5 hours for each test but oh man our teacher's tests are BRUTAL! she throws the hardest multiple choice questions that make you go ''whaaat?'' maybe im just not studying right.....can someone please give me suggestions...

Most of the test material that I've covered is application rather than factual recall. I have not managed to score well even with intensive 4-hour preparation on a daily basis.
