If you were me, what would you choose?
I have AP Euro, and AP Literatures as well as Japanese 4, Band 4, Entrepreneurship, and a slot of science.... AP Bio or Physics?

i'm taking AP physics right now and i like it

Take AP Physics C if you're thinking about majoring in math, chemistry, physics, computer science, or engineering. If it's AP Physics B vs Biology, take whichever one you're more interested in.

The real question is, "Which one do you like better yourself?"

But, just know that many schools offer AP Biology whereas only a few offer AP Physics C.

Meh. I found Bio boring. Too much memorization and crap.

Physics was actually quite interesting.

If you're more math oriented you'll find AP Physics C or B a lot better, because there is more logic, less memorization. I like Bio too, but problem with AP bio is that it covers A LOT. So you'll do all the cell biology stuff, etc. and photosynthesis/respiration (by the way, your chemistry better be STRONG here, or nothing will make sense), and then for some reason they have to teach all the taxonomy stuff...which I don't like.

Physics B I think is crazy hard...I skipped it and did Physic C instead. Physics C covers less material than Physics B does, but it does it more in depth, and with calculus. Also, not having done physics in a year, meant that I didn't know much physics at all, but knowing calculus helps A LOT. So, if you know calculus already, just take Physics C...

I suggest you take a look at the AP books, and see which one is more do-able. Niether of the 2 classes is easy, but I think both Physics B and C are somewhat more difficult in terms of actually understanding

By the way, I never took AP Bio, I did IB SL Bio (which is a ridiculous joke class), but I saw what AP Bio looks like, from the AP book, and its a good deal of material

Physics is alot of problem solving and understanding of concepts. Bio is memorization of alotta info.

Pick your poison.

(if you're going into science or especially med though, i'd chose both)

physics > bio

i enjoyed bio more. which teacher is better? which class has a higher percentage of 5's on the AP exam?

My school forces AP Bio out over two years: honors biology (all labs are done here and introductions to all the subjects are given in depth) and the the actual AP class (reviews and test prep). If I could do it again I would have taken physics, its just more impressive to me.

ohh.... i'm really sorry. I was talking about either AP Bio or regular physics... there must've been a misunderstanding.

I'm taking bio and I LOVE it, but that doesn't mean you will. I would love to take physics next year, but not enough room in schedule. If you think you'll have to take one in college (based on major, grad school, requirements, whatever) I would go for physics since that's something better to get out of the way or get ahead in than bio.

What do you want to major in. If you want to be a doctor like me it better be AP Biology, but if you're eyes are on MIT then I'd say Physics.

I want to major in hotel management or hospitality program that also covers hotel curriculum.
