ya i did that and showed how it correlated to ratios

I didn’t calculate the actual ratios; I just estimated…

Does anyone know whether the curve is worldwide? Or is there a certain curve for Internationals (Form B) and a different curve for Western (Form A)?

Because I’m an international test-taker, and I feel as if Form A was more rigorous according to these discussions. My FRQs were soooo simple & straight-forward; but I feel like I could’ve added WAY more things. I wanna know if the curve will help me in any way!! :)

Form A FRQs were soooo simple and straight-forward too. No question about it.

But I’m not sure if there are separate curves or not. That’s a good question. :)

agreed with kawaaii…the international version was extremely simple for FRQ…the FRQ’s were waay better than the previous year FRQ’s so I almost danced in my seat when I saw them…

Doesn’t mean they were easy (at least not for me). I feel like they were very hit-or-miss; either you knew the material or you didn’t…

@kawaii, I believe there is a separate curve for Form A than for Form B test takers. That’s how collegeboard ensures the results are accurate…

when will they release the FRQ’s online…I really wanna see what the Form A was lol…and see if it was harder (relative to me)

hmmm took form b. i wish it included bothh… that way the curve might be easier!

azif, i believe they release it late june/early july…

dont they release it two days from now???

No, it should be in one day from now (since we took it yesterday). In about 24 hours it should be available. :)

Would we get docked points for a certail question if we wrote an answer, but that answer wasn’t necessarily correct or the right term, but what we wrote as an explanation is actually true and describes the process of the correct answer.

I hope that was understable. If you need clarification on what I mean, let me know.

You will simply earn points for whatever you say that is correct. There is no losing of points unless you contradict yourself.

@bumble, seekinguni: I was talking about collegeboard releasing the scoring guidelines, not the actual FRQs themselves…

How were we supposed to get that specific number on number 2…

Edit: yeah, it was the second one

First of all, I think you’re talking about #2 (if you’re referring to Form A). Second-of-all, we can’t discuss stuff like this until 48 hours has passed.

I feel kinda stupid… I didn’t read the directions and I wrote my answers in paragraph form for each sub question. Will they grade my paragraphs, or will they just give me a - since I did not write one full essay for each question?

I found this test rather enjoyable. Thinking I got a 5.
feeling I got a 55-70 on the multiple choice (with missed questions subtracted), Frq #1 like 1-4 points Frq #2, 3, and 4 probably in the 8-10 range

i’m pretty sure that your supposed to write a paragraph form for each sub question
its not supposed to be one continuous question i’m pretty sure
