HEY GUYS, I really want to take AP BIO test. T T
I'm junior(even I didn't take SAT!) and I'm not really good at English 'cuz I moved from other country..
Anyway, I'm kind of afraid about GPA. I think I'm really good now, but if I take AP class, then it is going to fall really badly. I guess..
SO, I will take AP biology test.
Of course, I took biology class when I was sophomore :) (I moved when I was 10th grade)
Everybody Cliff is good for self study, but I'm not sure whether it is or not.
I really have to study all about biology!
Plz, tell me what is good to study for whom doesn't know anything about it.

I took biology in freshmen, and taking chemistry currently (sophomore). I am planning to take AP chemistry next year(Junior). On top of that I plan to self-study AP biology and take the AP exam. But I am afraid that by just studying the review book may not cover all the material on the test. So… I am thinking to take an online AP biology class and do the review before the AP test. Any body have the experience on AP biology online course. Can the online class credit get transfer to high school transcript? Does it look good on college app. that you take online class instead of in school class. Please advice.

Barrons bio is by far the best. If not taking the class, be careful what to learn because some of the specifics from barrons simply won’t appear on the ap test. You better do a lot of practice tests

Cliffs AP is the best review book.
The Camobell-Reece Textbook is the best introductory biology-textbook. Most colleges use it. You can rent it at [Rent Textbooks. Cheap Textbook Rentals for College | Chegg.com](http://www.chegg.com/) Please don’t buy the textbook its like $200! Good luck!

AP Bio is going to be a really tough self study because there are a lot of terms that sound the same and you said that your english wasn’t that good.
eg: differentiating between: sporocyte, sporophyte, sporangia, sporophyll

Cliffs is a life saver but it was a bit vague for me…
I would say buy the Pearson Bio textbook and study from there, the prep books just capture the ‘main ideas’ and do not give you a full in depth understanding of the topics
