I need advice with how to go about studying for AP Calc AB on my own. I can take the course at my school, but the teacher there is notoriously bad at preparing the students, so I plan to do a lot of self studying. Can you guy suggest the best books? Princeton Review or Barrons or anything else?
I also heard that many colleges, specifically state universities for me, wont accept AB as credit for a course.. is that true?

Start out with Barrons. If you can get 90%+ on all the questions in that book, you'll do well on the AP.

IF you're rushing, try Kaplan or Princeton Review; I used Kaplan after PR, and I found it more in-depth and helpful.

For concept understanding, use ARCO's.. It's the BEST. No dispute. For problem solving, use barron's. it's harder than the real test.

Also, although L'Hopital's rule is BC topic, learn it (it's easy; maybe takes 10 minutes to learn it) b/c it makes limit problems thousands times easier.
