does anyone know how the AP Calc AB Barrons book compares to the real AP test?
is it harder, easier, etc.?
thanks!

I've heard it's quite a bit harder.

Let me tell you about my encounter with the AP Calc AB test last year.

I went in expecting a 1. I never used a calculator before, and I didn't pay attention all year. I only knew how to integrate, derive, and some graphing stuff. Due to having almost no other knowledge, i guessed on so many problems, and bs'd alot of the Free response. In july i found out i got a 3. i was actually quite surprised, and i guess this shows the leniency of the curve.

ahahahah! azngamer
that makes me feel better about the test. i have an A in my class, but studying with these review books is making the test seem much harder.
but i'm still nervous about it, naturally.

the barrons is freaking hard..but then again i'm not very good at any of it..:)

i've taken 3 barron's tests.. and all were much much harder than the real thing imo.
