I asked my counselor if I can skip 20A, and she told me no (twice!). But I have this AP conversion sheet right here in my hand that says I CAN take math20B for credit if I choose to. So I asked another advisor on livechat, and he told me I can take 20B.
I'm not sure who to trust. Since my registration time is at night (tomorrow 6:40pm, meaning no livechat, no e-advising), I'm scared I won't be able to register for 20B when the time comes.
So my question: for those of you who scored 3 on the AB exam, were you able to register for MATH20B?

Hi Oneday,
If you look on the mathtesting site it gives the credit and courses that you can apply AP credit to. It is at: http://mathtesting.ucsd.edu/apcredit.shtml If you look in tritonlink it should show your AP scores in the Academic History section (if you received transferable credit for them) - if they are there it is extremely likely that the pre-req has been met and you shouldn't have any problem enrolling in the course..... Hope that helps!
