How many points is each free response question worth? What about each part of the question (i.e. how much is 1(c) worth vs. 1(d).) I want to see what score I would get, but because I don't know how to grade my free response questions, I can't really do that. Help/tips appreciated.

i believe its worth 9 points per section. you’ll need to average about 7/9 to get a 5. often part a-c are worth 6 points total and part d is worth 3. but look at released FR papers and you’ll be fine

Each numbered question is worth 9 points. Each lettered part of a question varies in value, depending on how many particular skills you need to demonstrate on a question. I’ve seen this number as low as 1 point (there are usually a couple of these every exam) to as many as 7 points (this one’s rare, but most exams have a part worth 4 or 5 points). Those just really depend on a case-by-case basis.

The only ones I’ve seen go 5+ points are the parts where you have to solve a differential equation via separation of variables. If there are 3 parts, it’s usually 3 points per part, but if there’s 4, it usually goes 2,2,2,3.
