AP Calc BC, help!

Due to schedule conflicts, the only way for me to take AP Calc BC is through independent study. Independent studying at my school is different than what people would call "self study" an AP test on these boards. It's much like being in a different period (aside from the original AP period, while the same teacher is teaching another class, not AP), and doing the same thing that regular AP students in the actual class would do, except do them without the lectures. I took AP Calc AB last year and scored a 5. I've never done independent studying before, and I was wondering which book would be good? I will still be provided with all the homework and textbook used for the actual class.

If you're asking for a supplementary textbook, I'll recommend two:

I think the ninth edition of "Calculus with Analytic Geometry" by Finney and Thomas is by far the best post-reform text out there. Since it was published almost ten years ago, I doubt many colleges still use this, but it is the BEST.

If you're looking for some seriously hardcore problems that will enrich your understanding of calculus, although will not be useful for the AP exam, then get both volumes of "Calculus" by Dr. Tom Apostol. Along with many others, this book proves that math before reform was more hardcore than math after reform.

If you're looking for a review book, I used Barron's and I thought it was very helpful.

I've heard MOEMS is good, too, though.

i used barrons and i got a 5. try to get some real ap tests.
