I signed up for BC. I really, really suck at it (AB's full, can't drop class at this point unless I want an F on my transcript). Taking a look at extra help in the PR book in the BC test section really scares me. I don't want to go out of the AP room feeling like I got 1/60 questions right.

On the other hand, everyone last year who took the BC test scored at least a 3 at my school.

So, would it look bad if I took the BC class, but the AB test?

Suck it up, man! How can you expect to improve if you keep telling yourself that you suck at it? The beauty of math is that anybody who wants to learn it can learn it.

Take some more time in your work. Read the text, do the examples as they come, and then do the problems. Refer to a prep book for even more practice.

BC is not that much harder than AB. You can do it.

50% of BC takers get 5s. Only something like 20% of ABers get 5s. Conclusion: Yeah, the BC test is harder and contains smarter people, but I would say your chances are better with the BC. For a 5 on the BC, you need to average 60% on everything.
