Can someone who got a C in Pre-Calculus take AP Calculus BC? They dont expect to make an A, they plan to maintain atleast a C in BC. The reason is that this person took 5 AP classes as a junior being his firs time ever even taking AP, on top of being in band having to practice music, and then dealing with Pre-calculus. So that had something to do with the C. So is this advisable?

If you school allow you to study Calc AB - take Calc AB. There is not a big difference between both of them (BC covers just 20% more). They both equal in terms of units for most of colleges. Example:
Student A takes Calc AB, passes exam
Student B takes Calc BC, passes exam
In college Student B wouldn't take a math that is 1 level higher than Student A cuz BC is not that hard. My TA from last year took AB his junior year, got 5, took BC his senior year w/o any studying of BC part and still got 5.
