Ap calc bc

Hello,
i am currently taking geometry at my hs and am taking Honors ALG II at EPGY and I also plan on doing pre-cal, and Calc A. Would I get to BC on this path? here are the prereq for my school bc class: 4508 AP Calculus BC (UC/CSU acceptable)
Prerequisite: A in Pre-Calculus H/Calc A and teacher recommendation
Open to grade 11, 12

This is an Advanced Placement course in mathematics, for which students may earn additional college credit upon passing the College Entrance Examination Board's test. The course consists of a full academic year of work in differential and integral calculus and related topics as well as series, polar coordinates, and vectors in the plane. This course is comparable to courses in colleges and universities. This course is intended for faster-paced math students.

pls let me know :)

I’m about 99.9999% sure we all know what Calc BC is. What grade are you in?

We need to know what grade you are in to answer your question.

^^I don’t. Is this like ‘BC’ as in before the year 0? I’m confused.

^ I don’t think Calculus was invented by then. Think he meant British Columbia, where Newton allegedly discovered calculus in a nearby cavern.

Also, you need to tell us what grade you’re in. But chances are, you’ll get in.

Geometry/Algebra 2 –> Precalc Calc/A –> BC calc

what’s there that you don’t understand? You seem on the right path (assuming you’re a 9th/10th grader

In my school it’s Geometry -> Algebra II -> Trig/Precalc -> Calc AB -> Calc BC

Some people are capable of jumping right into Calc BC but I can’t. Therefore you should be a freshman. Calc BC is pretty hard for most people. I say most because I don’t know if you are “smart smart”, book smart, or normal hardworking. (don’t yell at me if you disagree with my opinion!)

Yes in my school there is a split path at Precalc CalcA. Most go to AB and some go to BC.

At my school the track is:

9th: Geometry
10th: Algebra II/Trig/Precalc
11th: Calc AB
12th: Calc BC

Here’s how I went about it:

9th: Algebra II
10th: Statistics (no Precal for Sophomores :()
11th: Precal/Trig
12th: Calc BC

At my school, calculus is only available to seniors, and you can choose between AB and BC.

My school goes
Algebra2/Trig -> Precalc -> Calc AB or BC
for some reason you are not allowed to take both AB and BC (aka no taking AB then BC) lol
my school is weird

I’m a diez (10th) grador

Eh, that might be a problem? If you were a 10th grader in my school you wouldn’t be able to take Calc BC, let alone AB, by the time you are a senior. But that’s my school’s system. I can’t assert that you will not be able to take Calc BC, but you may.

how so heWhoPwnz?

I have sent the department head a letter and I am scared and I will cry if he says no.

I am a collaboration of books and smarts smarts. Repitition is key when you want to be pro at math. :)

Anyone? Please and my troubles
