I have a 4.0 unweighted right now, top 3% in my class of 537, and a 33 act. After this year (I'm a junior) I will have completed 4 ap's and I plan on taking four next year: AP Computer Science A (online), AP microeconomics, AP Psych, and one of the two I listed. I also have two electives and anatomy/physiology honors.

I plan on majoring in either computer science or math at one of these schools (or one of their caliber):
Georgia tech, unc, duke, michigan, virginia, purdue, stanford, ucla, florida

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Calc. Or both, if you have room.

@bodangles I would take both, but I just don’t want to kill myself my senior year. I have to work too and volunteer

It’s not quite the same, but I’m taking dual-enrollment Calc and Stats through Pitt this year, and stats is a joke. Taking both is not hard at my school, but it may be different at yours. Good luck though!

Take both if possible. Take Calc if you can choose only one.

Calc is a must. Stats if you can fit it in.

I just feel like Stat would make it too hard on me.

I would be more concerned about taking Calculus than Statistics. Are you talking about AB or BC? Also, I heard that Statistics is unlike any other math, but that it’s pretty easy. My sister took Calc AB, Stats, and Physics 1 through the same year and she didn’t have a problem. But of course, if you’d be more comfortable with one, I would definitely say Calculus.
