I'm going to be a sophomore and I plan on self-studying AP Calculus AB. However, many people on college confidential recommend to skip AB and just take BC. I want to take both because I will get course credit at my school. Should I stick with this idea? Or should I just take the BC exam? Also, with the sub-score for AB that you receive on the BC exam, does it count as a real AP exam score, or is it just an indication, but cannot be used on applications? Finally, If I do take BC, then what other math courses can I take? Thanks!
