Well I got an 83 going but I think I might give him my jersey for HC (have to give it to a teacher)

Hahaha niceeee. I had a related rates quiz yesterday, and I’m pretty sure I failed. If I do happen to make a 90+, then I’ll make my teacher star teacher if I become start student. Star student is basically the kid with the highest SAT score in a single sitting who is also in the top 10% of his/her graduating class.

So, I ended up getting a 86 on the related rates quiz hahaha. I’m surprised that I even passed. The test was awfully hard.

Started related rates yesterday but havent taken the quiz on implicit form yet (I think its Tuesday). This Chapter 2 test is going to blow

Implicit differentiation is easy, but the stupid related rates problems vary in difficulty. It sucks if you have a teacher who doesn’t know what he’s doing. cough, cough my teacher cough.*

We got the weekend off for math!!! first day without HW…it amazing though that all my other classes stepped up their game :(

Hahaha. We have 9 weeks exams starting tomorrow. I’m pretty worried. Calculus is first thing in the morning "/. We started critical point stuff last Friday. We did more of it today.

Wow, just started on derivates, have a 99 in the class, jesus this is easy.

The class is painfully slow…

Should I start to read ahead? I’m worried about the pace we’re going at.

96 on Calc final! I’m not sure if you should read ahead. I’d read ahead if you think you’ll have trouble in the future. It’s also dependent on how your teacher teaches

@Flubadoo-- by all means, read ahead! That’s what I ended up doing, and I ended up taking Calc BC x]

Well got a 100% of my related rates quiz (2 problems). Have a 86% but the chapter 2 test is tuesday so I need to do good if I have a chance at getting an A before the quarter is over.

Oh wow, congrats! I think I’m going to have to work extremely hard if I want an A by the end of the semester. I’m at an 83. My only B haha.

BC calc is where its at!!!

Sent from my Desire HD using CC

We covered all related rates in one day lol.

Sent from my Desire HD using CC

What are related rates lol? Ch 2 was all limits and definition of dy/dx. Position velocity and accel.?

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC

We started on rolle’s theorem and mean value theorem today. Pretty straight forward.

relates rates are like, a 10 ft ladder rests against a wall, with the base 5 ft from the wall. Someone is pulling the base of the ladder at say 3 ft per sec. Find the rate at which the ladder is falling. Something dumb like that haha.

Chapter 2 without related rates? Did you finish the chapter yet because its right at the end. Maybe your teacher moved it to the next chapter? Idk.

Although with this position formula and vectors this year, I feel that physics next year will be a piece of cake.

Note: Taking Chapter 2 Test Part 2 manana (so I’m going to bed)

Yeah, we are nearly finished with chapter 3. I think there’s a test very soon in the future. I think I’ll be good, hopefully.

Started chapter 3 but the quarter ends this week… I’ll be finishing the quarter with about an 88%
