AP Calculus AB or BC?

I am a sophomore at a boarding school and I have to decide the courses to take next year.
For math, I can take Ap calculus Ab or AP Calculus BC. But I am not very good at math even though I have taken honor Algebra II and Honor Precalculus. And I am thinking about taking AP calculus AB instead of BC. But I am afraid that my admission will get hurt if I do not take the most rigorous math class. So my qustion is "

I would say definitely take AB if you think you will get a higher grade. Taking either calculus in junior year is above average, and especially if math/science isn’t your focus it shouldn’t impact anything severely.

I personally don’t know anyone who skipped directly to Calculus BC and didnt take AB before it. Especially if you’re not a math person, the first semester (or quarter or whatever) of BC flies by extremely quick, and if you haven’t taken AB yet, I would imagine it would be very difficult. I’ve taken both and the first part of BC was a nice review after taking AB.

In my school, BS is not allowed to take once we take AB. SO I am planning to take another MATH in senior year. AP Stat or Advanced topic in Math if I take AB.

Yes, most students take AB before BC anyway. In my school, only people who have taken a special test into the Gifted and Talented program can take BC without taking AB. If math isn’t your strong point, this probably isn’t right for you.
