AP Calculus AB Test Discussion

What did you guys think of the test.

I might just barely get a 4 but im not sure. I thought the MC was decent and the FRQ's were ok, but I didn't get the last FRQs of the calc and noncalc section.
I'm sad its over though because now I have to go back to trig. Im in acc trig at my school and my teacher encouraged me to take the test and sent me down to the calc room. I don't want to go back! lol

i just wrote. i don’t even remember anymore what i got and didn’t understand. i’m just done. i’ve still got three more to go. maybe calc at tech next year will be easier since i took a great calc. class. i just hope i didn’t embarrass myself today.

It was… decent. The MC was easy for sure, especially part A.
And as for the FRQs… god I didn’t get most of the last FRQ on calc-section and realized that I made a huge mistake from the beginning. Otherwise it was good.

I’m expecting a 5 unless I seriously screwed up without knowing…

MC part A was easy, I omitted 3 on part B

FRQ was decent for the most part. the last part of the last question though… o_o

i definitely got a 4 or 5.

chat room anyone?

MC was easy, especially part A, part B was okay. FR part A was okay, but part B…omg…

Screw collegeboard. For the first time in years there was no disc or washer question and was instead a crosssection question with sin(pix)

yeah, … how did you do that one haha. i just integrated, since that’s how you find volume.

Be careful about referencing specific questions before the 48 hour rule ;)

I was a bit confused at first but I think I got that question eventually.

What do you guys think the cut off for a three will be?

The calculator FR was easy… Non calc; not so much.

who had to travel farther, Karen or the other guy?, also cross section sin(pix) = *** do u do wit htat, integrate it from 0,2?

2003 AP AB exam
66 to 108 = 5
47 to 65 = 4
29 to 46 = 3
16 to 28 = 2
0 to 15 = 1

This is the most recent one I know of, but I heard the cut-lines for this exam was VERY low. So probably around 40~50 should be good for a 3.

I dont know how to start a chatroom but someone start one and post it here.

just go to CCAPCALCAB

wow… i didn’t feel that great about this one… and it didn’t help that my teacher was horrible and i literally had two days to study because of the horrible workload our teachers gave us… but oh well, i’ll hope for the best. hope all did well :)

invite me please… aim: jennieblue22 yahoo:jennieblue22

how do i join the chatroom and where is it?

open the buddy list, go to AIM > chat > buddy chat > type your own SN in the invite list and erase chat######### and put CCAPCALCAB

I didn’t like part B of the MC.
The FRQ’s were alright.

Hoping for at least a 4. :)

I thought it was a walk in the park. I answered every MC question and expect atleast 40 right.

I didn’t have trouble with any of the free-reponse questions except the VERY last one, #6. I had 5 minutes to do it so >:|

Expecting a 5…no doubt. Hope you guys did well!
URGH I hate the 2 month wait

^ I know! Waiting two months is the worst part for me.

I thought all the free response and part A of the Multiple Choice was easy. Part B I thought was kind of hard. I really don’t know what I’m expecting.
