The only question I didn’t like about the FRQ was the damn cable one. Argh!

Xcellerator - I agree - Only FRQ that threw me off balance Stupid cables.

^ lol, i think that was my best one…i messed up the easiest one (the area one)…and part of #1 on the non calculator section…question 6 gave me some trouble too…i’m really hoping i get a 5 but its not lookin too good lol, and i have lit tomorrow :(

Who knew secant line is a MVT? Who knew! I was expecting the finding area question would be a calculator section, but no they decided to put it in the no-calculator section. I was hoping for slope fields too, man those are easy 9 points.

^ YES I thought it was MVT and i did that…

But don’t feel bad. I got like 1/2 of the FRQs I’m guessing, I did terrible on MC Part B, Did great on MC Part A…

Guessing I got a 3 which makes me sad because now I don’t think I will be able to get into Berkeley Eng. or Harvey Mudd… Oh well… UCSD here I come…

I know the material. :[ I’m good at math… Idk… maybe I am just stupid lol.

I was hoping for differential equations and an area/volume problem WITH calc. That’s an easy 18 points right there!

i got 30 for profit, and the integral that mean the profit obtained from the extra 5 feet of wire…and then i ventured to do the integral of 120+6sqk from 0 to k

i bombed it majorly

LOL. I think the profit was way more than that. xD
But I think I did the same as you as for making the equation. xD

^really $30 profit? I first put 500, but they made a note that its the difference of cable price and price cable is made. so my total was $2500

is there still an inflection point if f’(x) has a sharp corner(cusp)?

My total was also $2500

lumax i believe that counts

mc part A was really easy. MC part B is kind of difficult. I really have a hard time on that part. FR was alright, but some part of it are kind of confusing. I hope I receive a 5, but since I’m a sophomore who self-study the course, i bound to get a 4.

how do i join CCAPCALCAB i dont have aim on the computer im using. Someone should make a room

for those above ^^^

the profit was 2500, and the optimization (part d) was 16,000. at least thats wut i got and am almost sure its rights

as far as the SECANT line goes…i found the line connectine the two points and then showed that theoretically, using that line, f(7)=4/3 and since it was concave down it had to be AT LEAST 4/3. Hope not using MVT here gets credit :p.

should of taken BC :/…if only i wasnt lazy lol

yesssssss 2500!!! and that was my equation tooooo!!! sweeet fast track to a five baby :D

I took the AB exam. I thought the MC was really easy i didn’t answer 2 of them but all the others i’m sure i got right. I think this cuz i had enough time to do each MC question twice! For the FR its was harder than anything my class took free responses but i was able to answer most of them. I think I got a solid 4 but maybe a 5.

lol^ i made a quick graph sketch and showed f(7)= 4 by rise over run since f’(5) was 3.

nastynate, that was probably 2 points you got, it might not get you a five just b/c you got that right. lol

for the first question of the frq, i almost made the mistake of putting -.1 miles/s^2 (since im so used to using s^2 in physics) but i realized my mistake near the end of the test lol

wasn’t it suppose to be…i thought the question asked for acceleration?
