For the avg. wait time (99% sure) I got like 980 total people when the concert starts and then like 300-something for total hours of waiting, giving an avg. wait time of like .38ish, like alicimoo said!

wait was the deal with the Mighty cable thing??? What did y’all get for part D (the max amount of profit using the integral expression)…I got like $400 haha.

Also, I agree with everyone that multiple choice, overall, was very easy (both parts). I may have left about 2 blank per section, but I felt confident about everything I answered.

As for FR, I felt great about A, but B…man, I’m probably going to get zero credit for question 6 hahaha

for the average wait time one, you were supposed to find the average wait time of ALL people in the theater (the 980 people computed in part a). if you got 0.38ish with the 300something hours of wait time, that is the average wait time of all people who entered the theater between 1 hour and 0 hours before the start of whatever was supposed to start…not all of the 980 people in the theater entered between 1 hour and 0 hours before the start of the thing, some entered between 2 hours and 1 hour before the start, so that’s why its not 0.38ish…99% positive

people, they asked for the avg. time waited for people coming in after 1 hour, therefore the integral should be from 1 to 2 giving .68 or something

no they didn’t. they asked for it of all people. thats why the question said, considering the equation above and the total number of people in the theater computed in part a.

you wouldn’t use the 980 people at all in part d if you were only doing the average wait time between 1 and 2 (which is equivalent to the average wait time of people entering the theater between 1 hour before it starts and 0 hours before it starts).

it’s appalling that people don’t understand this.

What I did was calculate the wait time from 0 to 2 with that equation they gave me and got like 900 something. Then I divided it by the total amount of people from 0 to 2 that was found in part a and got the .77 or whatever. Is that what you did Tawo?

This calculates the time per person so…I have no idea what you guys did.

man, too many screw ups for wordy problems, first the caren going back -.4 thing, the cable problem, the semi-circle, now this! still hoping for a 4…

Don’t worry SolidSnake I messed up the last part of the cable problem. What semi-circle are you referring to?

@ nastynate

I love the way it integrates my curves, especially when I pinpoint to certain tangent lines. It just makes me want to anti-differentiate her e’s and raise it to an x. Maybe even 3 x’s. ;)

@ aznjunior

I had so many e’s and ln’s in mine that I probably messed up somewhere. haha
