AP calculus AB

when did you/is planning to have AP calculus AB, just wondering what classes everyone else had before it, also totally irrelevant, how important is latin in your future career?

Our school's progression is Alg, Geometry, Alg II/Trig, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Calculus III (altho this year they started combining AB and BC)

You mean classes before AP Calc? Or classes during calc? I'll do both. :D

sophomore schedule:
-algebra 2 honors
-precalculus honors
-drawing and painting 1
-law studies
-english 2 honors
-chem honors
-AP US government
-AP US History

(planned) Junior year:
-AP physics B
-AP calculus AB
-AP english lang
-AP studio art (2d)
-AP macroecon (maybe, probably not)
-drawing and painting 2
-1 course at a community college

I took geo and adval in 9th grade. Then skipped pre-calc and am taking calc ab in 10th.

A standard track to Calculus is Algebra I -> Geometry -> Algebra II -> Precalculus/Trig -> Calculus AB/BC

Math classes taken:

Freshman:
Algebra 1 Honors

Sophomore:
Algebra 2 Honors
Geometry Honors

Junior:
IB Math Analysis (sort of like a precalculus)

Senior:
IB Math Methods
AP Calculus AB

I got to skip a year of 7th Grade math, Hooray! Calc as a junior!

7: Algebra I
8: Geometry
9: Algebra II
10: Math Analysis (PreCalc/Trig)
11: AP Calculus BC
12: (Not Sure Yet- Maybe Calc III at the Community College)

I was think about skipping the precal/math analysis stuff and go straight to calculus next year (as a soph) but decided against it

Precalc is alot like Algebra 2, except it has trig, and I thought someone said trig wasn't used alot in calc, so I guess it's possible to go from Algebra 2 -> Calc.
