I asked the question: "Is calculus BC sufficient preparation for Calculus 3 in college" and got a number of mixed answers, so from my experience here in college, here are my reccomendations if you have the following:

3 on Calculus AB: Retake Calculus I
4&5 on Calculus AB: Skip to Calculus II

2 on Calculus BC: Retake Calculus I
3 on Calculus BC: Retake Calculus II
4 on Calculus BC: Brush up before Calculus 3 (prep book for AP is fine) and then take Calculus 3
5 on Calculus BC: Take Calculus 3.

The BC exam might not cover all of the material from calculus II, but the problem solving component (thanks to it being ETS flavored) gives students an edge in general problem solving skills over those who just took Calculus I and II (at a regular state or non-HYPS private).
