AP Calculus BC Scoring

So I hear that about 60-65% is a 5?
Is that right or not? How does the AB
subscore account in that scoring range?

It is...I had a question too about how the AB works into it so I can't answer yours, unfortunately (nor do I fully get what you're asking). All I know is that you get a separate subscore for AB.

This was my question (I posted it on another thread):
Does our Calc BC score take into account how we did on the AB part or is it based solely on our performance on the BC material? Is the AB material included just so that we can be given an AB subscore? Basically, if our grade for BC is based off AB AND BC, I'm saved because I know AB like the back of my hand but I only know about half of BC well. So...any idea? Thanks!

Calc BC scores is your TOTAL scores (both AB and BC parts)

AB scores is just AB stuff

So if you know all AB stuff (roughly 75% of test) and get all that right, that would be a 5 for the BC exam AND a 5 on the AB sub-scores

What's the percentage for a 5 on AB, not the AB partof the BC exam but the separate AP Calc AB exam?

The BC exam is NOT made up of 75% AB questions. more like 40%, according to the crash course

The BC exam is nearly 60% AB questions. Each year, approximately 60% of the multiple choice questions contribute to the AB subscore, as well as 3 full free response questions (which are identical to their AB counterparts) and part of a 4th free response question (which is usually completely different from any of the three remaining AB questions).

BC Calc is actually the easiest exam by percentage. Last year 49.4% of people who took it got 5’s.
