say last year i didnt take the ap calculus ab test and didnt get any college credit for it. now im in ap calc bc, and im wondering if i should take the test. if i dont take the test, is it pretty much just 2 years wasted of math? i know i wont pass ap calc bc, but is there some sort of ap calc ab test or some sort of sub score for ab that you can get? what are the benefits of getting ap credit for calculus? is it that big of a deal if i dont get the credit? for example, does it just mean im just going to start off at a lower math in college? what are the specifics? thanks.

You get an AB subscore for the BC test. Just take BC and most colleges will recognize your AB subscore as an AB test.

but will the majority of stuff be on the BC? i'd feel weird just skipping like over half the test and just doing the AB portion...because i really have no idea on any of the bc stuff.
