i thought curve was like 70% for a 5, I hope to God i'm wrong.

I felt it was pretty easy but made one really dumb mistake. I had done 3 multiple choice sections (2003, 1998, 1997) in preperation and had just recently done the 1997 which had 25 questions in the non-calculator section. I remembered this small tid bit of information and applied it to this test. It just so happened that #25 landed in the bottom right hand corner of the page. So I totally forgot about #26-28. I'm pretty sure I could have easilly gotten them too because I had so much extra time. Besides that I left 3 blank on the non-calculator section and flew threw the calculator section. The free response was ok, but I think I got atleast 4 out of 6 or 5 out of 6 in total. Overall, I think I did well enough for a 5.

The curve has been around 65/108 for the past 3 released exams.

It's usually a little more than 60%.

Where is everyone else material wise in Calculus class right now? We're startiting power series right now but I had to self teach myself parametric equations, polar coordinates, and Taylor and McLaurin Series to be able to take the BC.

what's everyone's prediction of the curve this year? 65/108 for a 5?

ok non-calc MC was okay (I skipped 4 of them b/c I never bothered to learn some of the more obscure junk). calc MC was pretty easy (I skipped 2 that didn't make sense to me at all though). calc frq was okay except for parts of #1. noncalc frq #4 and #5 were slightly harder then the rest of the test and #6 raped me b/c I hadn't seen a question like that before, ever, in my whole life :(. You guys feel the same? I should have studied for this test a little bit before last night hehe...My teacher sucked, he was teaching us stuff until late last week and barely assigned any review (which I didn't do b/c my ap chem, ap eng, and ap comp sci teachers all assigned reviews that were actually worth pts). Summary: Borderline 4/5 depending on the curve. <end rant=""></end>

how does form B compare to form A?
is it harder?
cuz i get to take it in 2 weeks or so, cuz my school messed up and put me on the AB list =/

I had form Q, and thought, overall, it varied by section in difficulty. The first section - non calc- was difficult, but after that, it got easier. I didn't learn the series either, so only those questions were really difficult. At least there weren't any trig sub questions or polar questions on the FR, those are nightmarish.

Our teacher covered most of the AB stuff and about half of the BC stuff, since our class got to choose whether to take AB or BC (we spent the last 3 weeks reviewing AB stuff), and most choose AB.

I didn't have enough time to finish the first part of the multiple choice. I omitted.... six on that part.

The free response was easier than the AB free response last year, that's for sure. :)

take a look for yourself on the college board site. it has free response questions, form a and b.

u guys are retarded period.

I think I screwed up a bit... maybe it was just my nerves, I don't know. Still crossing my fingers for a 5.

^^nah, I just didn't study :0 that makes me a dam criminal don't it?

Wow, that was an extraordinarily easy test. Compared to real Calculus, it didn't come close to what real Calculus is about. If they made it this easy this year they should have shortened the time limit...

So what do you think you need for a 5? for a 4? for a 3? Is there a place I can look this up?

there are threads about it

anyone want to make a chat :)

What is real calculus??

All this time I thought I was learning real calculus...

Hah. My school only offers AB, so I took that and started teaching myself BC material in March.
