AP Calculus BC

If I were to get a five on the BC exam next year, I could get out of Calc II and take Calc III as a freshman right?

I am in Algebra II right now. Would it be doable to study precalc, trig, cal I and II over the summer and throughout the year?

Or will a prep book be good enough?. I am also thinking about clepping it for pre calc.

My friend said I should buy a textbook and a workbook and understand Calc II.

Another suggested I just buy a few prep books, and pick up Precalc, trig, and Calc I and II for dummies all with the workbooks and just burn through those.

I really want to do this. I am willing to put in what it takes so do not waste your time replying, telling me I'm an idiot b.c I do not care.

I wish I could have done it this year instead.

I did just what you’re planning on doing this year, except that I did AB instead of BC. I think it’s perfectly manageable to do if you put in the effort. I didn’t put in much effort at all to study calc I and am fairly confident that I’ll get a 4 or 5 on the AP exam, so you shouldn’t have much trouble doing BC if you are dedicated. Definitely get a textbook to study it though, a prep book isn’t nearly good enough. For trig, you Gelfand has an excellent textbook and for Calculus, I used Stewart.
