AP Calculus BC

As a junior in AP Calculus AB, I was wondering if it would "look bad" (in terms of college admissions) if I took the Calculus BC exam at the end of the year (with some minor self-study), and take the course our school offers as a senior. My reasoning behind this is:

-Saving $84.
-The BC exam differs only slightly from the AB. And once I get the BC credit, my AB credit goes to waste anyway.
-Not be pressured next year as a senior to perform well if I already have the exam out of my way; our school finishes the BC curriculum in the first semester, while the rest of the year is devoted to calculus that we would expect to see in college.

sure, you could do it.

you could even take a higher math course senior year at a community college if you wanted.

It won’t look bad if you take Calculus BC exam while taking Calc AB class. I think college would be impressed.

Go ahead and take BC. Good way to save money.

I would do it. You seem to have everything planned out well, and it seems like a smart decision!
