I am currently a high school senior planning on attending college in August. I have 3 credits for AP Calculus and wanted to transfer the credits to college. I have seen that some medical schools require calculus while others require Statistics. But I also know that AP Credits are not recommended by medical schools. So should I transfer my AP credits or retake Calculs in college?
Calculus AB or BC credit? If it’s AB credit, you will need to take Calculus 2 in college.
If you have BC credit, you may want to take Statistics if you didn’t take it in high school.
I have credits for Calculus AB.
Is there any way where I can take Statistics and not take BC at all?
This is a very med school-specific question. Most, but not all, schools will accept AP Calc credits as fulfilling prerequisites. However, there are exceptions, which may change in future admissions cycles. See the link below:

But really, you are getting ahead of yourself. Wait until you get to college and ask advice from a pre-med adviser.
Thank you thank you THANK YOU! That was extremely helpful.
I know I am getting ahead of myself, but I can’t help it. I think about my medical school path day in and day out. I love planning things ahead.
