I’ve always been a math kid. I was one of the best students in Honors Algebra 1, Honors Geometry, and Honors Algebra 2. However, this year, I finished with a C+ in the first semester of Honors Pre-Calculus. This changed my perspective a little bit. I want to major in computer science so calculus is a must have.
Next year I will have to take AP Calculus AB and to ease myself into I was thinking that I should take Honors Calculus over the summer through FLVS. Is it a good idea? Or should I just stick with taking AP Calculus without Calculus Honors?
Ask your teacher if they have any recommendations. It can’t hurt to take calc honors over the summer, and it’ll likely prepare you for AP Calc.
