I'm taking AB, any tips or good links to websites that helped you guys???

our teacher doesn't really help much, and reading the book isn't easy- they kinda assume you know everything. FYI, im using "calculus - larson edwards" 9th edition.

Calculus AB for me was really easy and seemed quite straight forward. I am in BC this year. I know a lot of people struggled with AB last year and I never understood why. It is simply just one concept split into two categories which are opposites(differentiating and integrating) if you need specific help let me know

I have no answers for you but I in AP Calc AB too this year (every other day) . Everything is SO straightforward right now, we did some limits (questions that take hardly five seconds , it’s probably the most basic lint can get). I know it’ll get harder, hopefully I can pull through!

Awww I use that book, as well. I agree about the book. The firs time I read it I was like “the eff are teu talking about??” but you just need to get accustomed to reading the way they say it…but anywho on topic.

I’m in BC (didn’t take AB) so I’m technically in the same boat as you. Do you talk a lot in the class. Are you vocal. Sometimes sitting back and observing and speaking up only when you don’t understand something goes very far. I learned that within the first week of Calc.

Use Khan Academy and the APCalc guy in YouTube. He helped loads when I didn’t understand something about limits.

Only limits? Oh well, you didn’t start the same time as me. We did limits for a week and now we’re in derivatives. Implicit functions, if I can remember the name correctly. Used the book last night for homework…understood most of it…until I fell asleep :/

yeah thanks guys for all the responses now.
ill try to keep running and pushing myself- it’s rather depressing when you get crappy test/quiz grades back.
