AP Calculus Preperation

Hi, I’m currently a Junior and will be taking AP Calculus BC in the upcoming school year. Math has really never been my strong suit, and I did pretty bad in Honors Pre-Calculus (B-). I’ve realized that in order to do well in Math, I have to learn it multiple times to gain a proper conceptual understanding of the material. That being said, my goal is to learn as much AP Calculus as possible before the start of the school year in August. I currently own my schools textbook, CALCULUS OF A SINGLE VARIABLE 9TH EDITION BY LARSON, but learning out of a textbook gets dry very quickly. I know Khan Academy is a very good starting point, but reading other discussions and watching a couple of videos makes it seem like they don’t go into that much depth. Can anyone offer any resources or help to the problem I’m facing? Thank you very much!

Art of Problem Solving (AOPS) has a really good Calc BC online review course. That’s a bit expensive, so they have good workbooks as well.

I’m wondering if maybe you’d be better off with AB? Just a question. I know that at my kid’s school, generally kids who get B+ or higher go in to BC and the rest go to AB.
