ap calculus---)skip the college class or not

heyyy, i'm going to UC Irvine, Biotech major, CHP. :)

I got a lil question on my hands:

is it worth it to skip the college classes using my AP credit?
I am doing pretty well in AP Calc BC and a 5 is no problem.

But are the calc teachers good at Irvine..?
I heard the classes are much different in terms of covering different material than what we got in our wee lil high school class.

If anyone could drop names on teachers, would be good.

shrugs

amazing site, btw.

You don't have the choice to skip the class or not. If you get a 4 or 5 on the BC exam, then you automatically skip the first two calculus classes. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Seriously, if you get a 5 on the BC you don't need to take the first two calc classes. All they do is teach you derivatives in the first quarter and integrals in the second quarter. You'll be bored and you'll find it to be a waste of your time.

^^It's true, move on with your math.
