<p>Does like 55 or so on the MC put you in good shape for a 5? That's what I've been getting. My chem teacher says it's like 60, but i'm skeptical, as he also says that there is Extra Credit on the free response and that the score is 65% free response.</p>
<p>Pretty sure it’s 50/50 percent on the weighting for MC and FR, and if you get around 60 then you’re in good shape. I get around 60 too (58). We both have good shots Good luck!</p>

<p>Princeton Review claims that a 50% in total points is about a 5, but that the exact curve varies per test.</p>
<p>66% I believe is a 5 because usually it’s around 100 points on a 150 point scale. 50% would be a 4, and 33% would be a 3. This is for BOTH the free response and the multiple choice though.</p>
<p>so that’s like 50 MC if you can handle FR well.</p>
