I'm considering manipulating my schedule to be able to take AP Chem as well as AP Physics C my senior year. I know these are probably the two hardest courses in the school, but I'm really a science guy. I feel like I can do well, especially since when you double up on sciences in my school you have to take a study hall, which I haven't even done before. That's an extra 3 hours of study time in school per week. Also, for a bit of an idea of how I might do, I averaged about a 93 or 94 in my Honors Chem class sophomore year and I'm currently averaging a 95 or 96 in AP Physics B as a junior. I also already have calculus experience, and I'm actually running near a 100 in Calc AB.
I know it seems like I made my decision already, but if I'm being completely irrational, please tell me. I don't want to jump into this and find out "oh ****, I'm screwed". That just wouldn't be good.
Also, it's worth noting that I won't take the Physics C E&M test due to monetary issues, and might even have to decide between Physics C Mech and Calc BC for which to take. So I'm not too worried about the AP tests themselves, just the class.
And since I feel the need to mention this, I'm not trying to brag with grades, I just feel that it gives a good perspective.

Not irrational. I took AP Physics B and AP Chem AND an extra science called Environmental systems. If I could, I would have taken Physics C. However, I mostly think that what made this feasible was my physics teacher. If you are confident of the ability of the teacher for physics C, go for it.
