I'm currently working on my schedule for my senior year and am debating whether or not I should take AP Chem and AP Physics. I'm dead set on taking AP Physics, I think it's AP Physics C: Mechanics but I'm not entirely sure. Here's my schedule so far:

1: AP Physics
2: AP Calc (I think it's AB, but again, I'm not sure)
3: LA 12
4: Econ Macro/Micro (taking at community college and taking AP test)
5: Astronomy/College Writing
6: Possibly AP Chem??
7: Possible Physics E&M or Calc BC

So what do you guys think about taking AP Chem along with AP Physics and AP Calc? Is it too much for me to be asking of myself? (considering I've only taken 1 AP so far, stats)

Wow, that’s a lot like my schedule this year; I have:

AP Calc AB
AP Chem
AP Physics C Mechanics
AP Psychology
(for AP classes, that is)

I would suggest just taking 1 science. I almost died a few times this year. Trust me, it gets really stressful when you have a Calculus test, a physics test, and a chemistry test all within a few days of each other, and that happened a few times. Imo, they are some of the hardest AP’s out there. If I were to go back and do it again, I’d probably just take AP Physics.

However, ask around at your school. Maybe they’ll say otherwise. AP classes variate in terms of difficulty at different schools.

I’m currently in AP Calc Ab, AP chem, and AP Physics B as a junior. Although I can’t compare between physics C and chem, I can tell you that physics B is a far easier course than AP Chem. AP chem is a lot of work and we honestly had much more homework in that course. It might be different for your school though, so yeah, ask around.
